For the first time this season, the good summer vibes are going to be shared at Barone Fortres by B’s FUNstallation, the new jazz generation band, in the opening night of B Side, cultural programme held at intimate stage of the Barone Fortress.
The programme is created for the members of Šibenik's Fortresses Friends Club and all visitors with daily ticket, which presents musical and art performances of renown Croatian and international artists.

Founded by trumpeter Zvonimir Bajević, B’s FUNstallation represents a creative ensemble whose compositions represent fresh musical expression of their attitudes, feelings and situations from everyday life. From year-long friendship and shared experiences in various projects, as the very successful HGM Jazz Orchestra Zagreb, the ensemble gathered in a smaller, more flexible group in spring 2012, from when they perform as independent sextet, in which the musical preferences and creative impulses of all the members would be accepted and encouraged. The ensemble members are Mario Bočić, tenor saxophone, Miron Hauser, trombone, Zvonimir Bajević, trumpet, flugelhorn, Luka Žužić, keyboards, trombone, Goran Rukavina, double bass, electric bass, Adriano Bernobić, drums.
B’s FUNstallation has collaborated with a long list of renown artists over the years (for instance, the Elvis Stanić Group, Jazz Me Do Quintet, Satellite Quartet, Tamara Obrovac Transhistria Ensemble, The Problems, Vedran Ružić Sextet, Lasse Lindgren Big Constellation, The Bonebomb, Big Band RTV Slovenia) and has performed at most of the big festivals in Croatia and the neighbouring countries. The first major international venture of the band was a two-week tour in China where they held nine very successful performances in front of large audiences in the concert halls.
The ensemble recorded their first studio album, Sixto, which was released in May 2015, while their second studio album Blue Line was recorded at the beginning of the year. Ensemble's performance at the Barone Fortress is surely the right time for the audience to hear the newest compositions and enjoy the night.
