Psihomodo Pop
Night of Fortresses Goes Green is introducing a new, eco-friendly component this year, bringing a program to all three of Šibenik’s land fortresses on Saturday, May 9th.
This year’s edition comes with a new challenge – to raise awareness among visitors about sustainable tourism and environmental practices, encourage active participation in environmental protection, and promote cultural heritage as a key component of sustainable development. The program will take place on the same day at historic sites across Europe, and the full list of events can be found on the official website: nightoffortresses.org.
The concert within Night of Fortresses opens the summer season at St. Michael’s Fortress open-air stage, and this year, Psihomodo Pop will take the stage on May 9th. The band, which has been a part of the Croatian music scene for over 40 years, will perform well-known hits along with songs from their newest album “Vjerujem u čuda”, winner of the Porin Award for Album of the Year!
In line with the sustainable practices of Fortress of Culture Šibenik, single-use plastic is replaced by reusable cups, tickets will be available exclusively online, and waste separation bins will be placed at all locations. Our venues and events are visited by hundreds of thousands of people annually, and we strive to reduce our environmental impact with each step, while raising awareness about the importance of sustainability in our community.
Entrance to the concert is free, but tickets must be reserved online via the Eventim system. The first, limited batch of tickets will be available to Friends Club members starting April 22nd, while remaining tickets will be available to the general public starting April 28th.
The concert starts at 9 PM, and entry to St. Michael’s Fortress is free from 9 AM to 7 PM, with the last entry at 6:30 PM.
To recap, the Night of Fortresses Goes Green is part of two EU projects implemented by the Šibenik Fortress of Culture:
