Daniel Caccia & Organ Trio
As part of the Barone Jazz Festival, on August 3rd, we'll be celebrating the 100th birthday of the legendary singer and composer Ivo Robić with a concert by Daniel Caccia and the Organ Trio. They'll be performing Robić's timeless hits in fantastic jazz arrangements. The young and award-winning singer Daniel Caccia will be accompanied by the talented guitarist Ratko Zjača, the skilled pianist Renato Chicco, and the groovy drummer Jože Zadravec. They'll also be adding some popular European jazz tunes to the repertoire.
Daniel Caccia was recognized as the best young singer by DownBeat magazine in 2013. He won the Porin Award for the best jazz album with the HGM Jazz Orchestra in 2014, and he was nominated for the 'Echo Jazz Awards' as the singer of the year in 2016.
