The long-awaited return to recording was announced with the single Solar Power which immediately after its release received praise from critics and audiences. Days since it was released it had 30 million streams. NME and Pitchfork give the singles fives, Billboard praises Lorde and Solar Power as a fresh chapter in her work, while the Guardian says Lorde’s comeback song sets her apart from others in terms of her creativity.
“The album celebrates nature, and with it I try to capture the feelings I have when I'm out. In times of sadness, confusion, falling in love, I turn to nature in search of answers. The song 'Solar Power' is a tribute to the infectious and flirtatious summer that overwhelms us all," says Lorde.
The news of the big world tour that will cover more than 40 countries was transmitted by the world media, and the long-awaited appearance is especially due to carefully selected locations. On the tour, Lorde goes to places he personally chooses and wants to visit, and mostly to the best concert stages in the world. Thus Šibenik fortress found itself on the list besides legendary concert destinations such as Radio City Music Hall in New York, Shrine Auditorium in LA, Roundhouse in London or Castello di Villafranca in Verona
