Luky – returning to the stage at the Fortress birthday concert

16.03.2026.

Luky, one of our most charismatic musicians, returns to the stage after thirteen years of silence — at the St. Michael’s Fortress birthday concert on June 5th!

Some comebacks arrive quietly, like a story that has been gently simmering beneath the surface. Such is the return of Dragan Lukić Šegedin – Luky, who steps back into the spotlight with the release of his exceptional new EP Grad pored luke (The Town by the Harbour). From one of Europe’s most beautiful open-air stages — and for its birthday, no less — Luky will present his new songs alongside the beloved ones from the trilogy by which we know him best: Ararita, VITRIOL and Hvala.

Šibenik is the city to which Luky is especially connected; as a boy, he often visited together with his father, stopping by to see Arsen Dedić.

Before fully devoting himself to authorship, Luky was already deeply woven into the history of Croatian music as the keyboardist for Tužne Uši, Đavoli, Dino Dvornik and TBF. As a music producer and multiple Porin Award winner, he shaped many iconic albums by Urban, Daleka obala, Dino Dvornik, Oliver Dragojević, TBF, Fon Biskich and Narodno blago, leaving a profound mark on the releases that defined a significant era of the Croatian pop‑rock scene.

His first solo album Ararita marked the moment when, after years of working behind the scenes, he fully emerged as an independent artist. It is an intimate and expressive pop record that revealed how personal experiences can speak universally. With VITRIOL, he turned toward more complex arrangements and a darker, introspective tone, while Hvala closed one creative chapter and opened a long period of withdrawal from the public eye.

After thirteen years of silence, through the four new compositions of the EP Grad pored luke, Luky again leads listeners on a journey between nostalgia and the present, between the city and the people who shaped him, searching for the essential values of love and kindness — values which often feel forgotten today.

At the St. Michael’s Fortress concert, instead of spectacle and lavish staging, we can expect an evening of atmosphere, subtlety and sincerity — a night in which the songs become not just music, but a shared space of memory and emotion. Ti si more, Nigdi mira nimam, Mislit na sebe, Provaj, Svitlo u tebi, Prije sna, Još uvik imam voje, Tamo di san davno tija, Arti, Hvala, along with newer tracks Srce od zlata, Grad pored luke and Zbogom anđeli, are just some of the songs we will hear.
